World of Food Festival 2017

We were so excited to produce the wonderful World of Food Festival 2017!

Hundreds of families, friends and couples gathered at the Court Gardens on the 19th November – enjoying the dozens of food stalls serving dishes from all around the world. Each country is represented by the consulates in WA!

This event embraced the diversity in food and culture, with accompanying musical acts and performances from around the globe encompassing tradition. 

Participants enjoyed plenty of outdoor seating and shade (having a picnic on the grass is an all-time favourite, too!) The various stalls from each country were labelled, accompanied by the countries' respective flags. Although almost impossible to choose what food to enjoy, people could roam around the grounds and watch the experts make food to get some tips and tricks - as well as enjoy the view of the beautiful Government House Gardens.
